Helia Razavi is a graduate student studying the Architectural Technology program at Shahid Beheshti University in Iran. She has had a profound interest in architecture since high school, where she attended a technical school. She has a keen interest in 3D modeling, Machine Learning, and Digital Design. Some of the software she excels in using is Rhino, Grasshopper, Unreal Engine, and Orange. She also possesses knowledge in Python and Ladybug.
Helia’s undergraduate thesis titled “Pāyak” delved into the topic of energy efficiency methods using professional digital software. She utilized modeling techniques with World Creator and Height Map in a bid to bring energy efficiency to the Maranjab desert’s extreme climate. The Pāyak research seeks to create unique façade detailing, particularly shading systems.
Hybrid machine learning, digital fabrication, and data analysis are some of the other research areas that intrigue Helia.
Besides architecture, Helia enjoys playing the piano and is a fan of anime and video games in her free time.
